We had a fun willed weekend full of BBQ's, friends, family, and fun. On Sunday we had a BBQ and made whole made ice cream with Matt's Grandpas old crank ice cream maker. (This was a family tradition that Matt wanted to pass on to our children) We made strawberry ice cream and it was delicious. Claire helped Matt crank the ice cream. She loved it! You will notice that Claire is in her underwear.... it is very normal around our house. It is nearly impossible for us to keep clothes on her. I hope this stage ends soon. It drives me crazy.

cute! oh my gosh look at claire making faces in that last picture. where did she get her silly personality? she's adorable. my family used to have an ice cream maker like that. we hardly ever used it but it did make the best ice cream. we had to put rock salt around the edges to keep it cool.
