Last night I decided to take Claire out for a special girls night (just the two of us). I let her choose where we went and what we did. We started the night out at the Rainforest Cafe for dinner then headed to the merry go round, Disney store, visit with the Easter Bunny, Nordstroms for some new crocs, and ended the night with a special cookie. We had a blast! Claire was so well behaved and seemed so old. We sat at dinner and just talked. I felt like she had so much to say. It was one of the most special things that I have done with Claire. It is something that I plan to so with each of the girls once a month.
On the car ride home Claire said, "Mommy, thanks for the special Big Girl night. It was so fun. I love you." It melted my heart. It is something I would recommend to everyone!

that is too cute! i'm going to plan something like that with coop. it's funny because i actually just said to coop - i'm going to see if you can take a nap next tuesday and then stay up late and watch idol with me.
