The past few days we have been around the house alot since we were all sick. There are a few conversations with the kids that were priceless....
Claire
C: "Mom do you think there is any way I could be on the naughty list?"
Me: "I don't know have you been good"
C: "Well most of the time but I can't be perfect"
Addy
Me: "Addy, what are you asking Santa for?"
A: "A water thing"
Me: "What is that"
A: "A water thing"
Me: "Where would you get it?"
A: "Santa will get it in his workshop"
Me : "Well what if he does not know what it is?"
A : "He does"
GOOD LUCK SANTA! We have been through catalogs and online and she wont even budge.

BUG
Well the time has come where all four of us got the stomach flu. YUCK! We are finally on the mend today. We are hoping for a vomit free night! The worst part of it is that Claire is missing her preschool holiday performance that they have been working on all year. She is so bummed. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day for us all:)

Many Blessings
Wednesday we had a very scary thing happen in our family. (The only reason I am sharing this is that this blog is something that I am going to print for my children as a memory of there childhood and I want this to be remembered as a blessing in our lives.) Claire, Addy, and I were on our way home from the park (Claire on her bike and addy in her buggy) Claire was ridding about five feet ahead. We were finally on our street when we saw our neighbor in his car in his driveway. He was taking with his mom with his window down so I told Claire to go ahead. The next thing you know he was backing up not looking and ran into Claire. I literally saw her life flash before my eyes. I SCREAMED so loud to stop and he stopped. Claire crawled out from the car and ran to our lawn screaming "I want my Daddy". I immediately made sure she was ok. I am not sure how she is ok but she went away from it with just a few black and blue marks and nothing else. She did have her helmet on (thank God). We are so very thankful that she is ok. I know alot of stories that do not end up so well. It has been a lesson to our family and many of our friends, family, and neighbors. Please be careful when driving and backing up. And please have your children wear helmets.
We are so thankful that our children are safe and healthy. That is the best gift of all!

Soccer
Last Saturday was Claire's last soccer game of the season. She played a great game with two goals (great way to end the season). She is really sad that it is over. We had a great team with some really nice girls. We hope to keep the team together next year.
Monday night we celebrated with an end of the season at Chuckie Cheese. The girls had a blast.
Matt got a nice gift from the team since he stepped in alot (all but a one games) as assistant coach. He had a great time and is planning on coaching with the same coach next year. FYI... the coach this year happens to be a friend of Matt's from childhood. We didn't even know they lived here until our kids were on soccer together. Totally random.
Claire got a trophy. She was more than THRILLED. She said, "this means I was the winner". She has carried it around for two days. She wanted to sleep with it. So cute:)
Now on the tball for the spring!

Little Miss Engineer
I was looking through pictures today and came across this one of Addison. This picture captures Addison's personality to a tea.
She is our little engineer. She is always studying things. She takes a gymnastics class on Tuesday mornings while Claire is at school and the teacher laughs at her all the time. She is the only kid in the class that will place the gym equipment just perfectly so that she can to each activity perfectly. She is GREAT at Lego's. She can make a mean Lego castle. I just love watching her everyday and watch that little brain on the move.
Oh and she also NEVER wants to have clothes on and if she does she will change it 100 times a day. Why you ask her "because I am a princess". Oh lord help us:)

Back On Track
I am back and ready to blog. We have had major computer problems followed by loosing my camera so we have alot to catch up on.
We are going to be sad when the soccer season ends in 2 weeks. But we are moving on to t-ball.
Claire also started pre-k this year. She loves it. She has met some great friends and loves her teacher Miss. Julie. We could not be happier with the school Claire goes to. She has the oportunity to go to a great school (at the church I have attended since 2nd grade) as well as learn Gods love at the same time. It has been really great. We look forward to Addy going next year.
Unfortunalty I don't have any school pictures. They are on the camera that I lost. BOO!
This past weekend was filled with Halloween fun. We carved pumkins as a family on Friday. It was so much fun. Saturday we went to Trunk or Treat at Church, then Sunday the girls Trick or Treated with some of there best buddies. It was a great weekend. Addy keeps asking when we are going again.
That is all for now. I promise I will be a better blogger.

No more diapers!!!
GUESS WHAT???? I no longer have to buy diapers! Addison is potty trained!!!
The last two weeks Addison has had a nasty bacterial problem and had none stop diarrea(sorry to be so blunt) for 11 days. It was awful! She was on the potty so much that she learned the feeling of needing to go. When it was all over she did not want to wear diapers anymore. In turn we have a potty trained princess. She is still wearing pull-ups at night but that is our next step.
I cannot believe that I am done with diapers:) YEAH ADDY!

Sorry I have not posted in along time. We have had a crazy few months. We bought a house, moved, and went on vacation all withing a few months. It has been crazy.
We finally found a house that suited our family perfectly. I will post pictures later.
Two weeks after we moved we went on vacation to Maui for 2 weeks. It was amazing. Pics to come.
I just ordered the cutest bedding for the girls room (they share a room now and love it). They love barbie and I found this on super sale at PBK.
I could not resist. It is so girly. They will love it!
Stay tuned...I will be posting lots of pics in the next few days.

Addison Taylor
I forgot how funny two year old can be. Addison keeps us laughing all the time. Here are some of the latest things out of her mouth.
1.) Tonight I hear her yelling from her crib "Mom can you hook me up with some ice water?"
2.) The other night Matt was singing frosty the snowman and he came to the part where it ways a corn cob pipe a button nose ans two eyes made out of cole. Addy put her finger up in Matt face and says
A: " No Daddy, no cole".
M: "Why?"
A: "I don't like cole, cold is for bad girls, I am a good girl"
That kid keeps us laughing!

Im alive and posting!
Sorry I have not posted forever. We have been a bit crazy over here. Our landlords sold the house we are living in and we are in the process of buying a house all in the middle of all of our birthdays. It has been crazy!
Here are some important things that have gone on....
Addison Turned two on February 19th! She picked a princess theme.
Claire Turned 4 on March 3rd. She also had a princess theme. She insisted on carrot cake. The only one I could get had carrots on it so I scraped them off and added princess things. That is why it looks kind of messy.
Claire had a birthday party at Build-a-bear with all of her buddies. It was a really fun party!
Claire had Daddy night at her preschool. She had a blast. She even picked out her own outfit and Daddy's outfit.
That is all that I have gotten pictures of.
We are moving out of our house this Saturday. We will be moving into my Moms for a few days or weeks until our new house closes. Wish us luck! We will keep you posted. Hopefully I can share pics of the new house soon.
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!!!

Here comes four!
This past week Claire has really seemed so much older. People have been telling me that four is much easier that three ans I am just beginning to see it (she turns three March 3rd). Three was so hard (terrible two's is nothing).
Claire has said some really funny things this week the great part is Matt was home to hear them. I think that sometimes he wonders if I make this stuff up it is so funny. Now he knows I don't. This kid is just funny.
Here are some of the things.....
1. CLAIRE: Mom, Next year I would like to have a new baby for Christmas. ME: what kind of baby? CLAIRE: a real one like Addy. I don't remember her much as a baby. Babies are so cute. I want one. (seriously, isn't she to young for this?)
2. CLAIRE: Mom, I have little boo boos (breasts) ME: yes, you do CLAIRE: when I get older they will get bigger. ME: yes, you are right (what else do you say?)
3. (standing on the top of the stairs yelling down to Matt) CLAIRE: Dad which ones do you think? ponies or doggies? (holding pony underwear in one hand and dogs in the other) MATT: I like the dogs in honer of Bella (my sisters dog they fell in love with at Christmas) CLAIRE: great idea. Dogs it is. I will wear the ponies tomorrow. (she is turning into a teenager)
There was more but you get the picture. So funny!

Christmas
We had a fun filled Christmas this year. We headed up north to spend the holiday with my sister and brother ans there families ans my Dad. It was so much fun to have all the kids together.
We drove up to Davis Wednesday morning. After arriving we decided to head to the jelly belly factory. It was so much fun. The kids had a blast! Christmas eve we spent at my Dads house. We had the traditional Christmas dinner of Goose and sausage.
