TRIP TO THE DENTIST

Yesterday was Claire first trip to the dentist. It went GREAT! We took her to a pediatric dentist that made the entire experience fun and exciting for her. When we first got there the dentist told us that we would just do what she will allow. Much to all of our surprise she jumped right in the chair let the dentist count her teeth, clean them, and do a fluoride treatment. It was crazy! It may have had to do with the fact that they let her have chocolate toothpaste (WOW how things have changed). We were really proud of her and the best of all NO CAVITIES!!!

What do you want to be when you grow up?

This morning we were watching TV (NOGGIN) and they were talking about what you want to be when you grow up. When it was over I turned to Claire and said, "Claire, what do you want to be when you grow up?" She looked at me and immediately said, "Daddy". She was so serious. It was so cute.

"Here is the situation..."

The other day Claire and I were are McDonald's playground (yes we go there alot. It is a great place to ware kids out.) and Claire came up to me with the most serous face and said, "Ok, Mom so here is the situation." I said, "what?" (I thought that I heard her wrong). She repeated herself, "here is the situation" sat down and folded her hands on he lap and said, "that kid that just left hit me." I tried so hard not to laugh because she was so darn serious. I then said, "well.... if it happens again tell him that we do not hit and you don't like that he did that to you". Then Caire said, "well, ok" (with a sigh) and went on her way.

I called Matt right away and told him. It was so darn funny that I had to share it with all of you.

Addys First Birthday!

Addy turned one yesterday!!!!! We had a great family day. Matt met us for lunch, we played at the toy store, then had everyone over for a spaghetti dinner, cake and presents. The entire day was Elmo themed (Adddy loves Elmo). It was a really fun day! Addy was so excited she woke up at 5:45 this morning ready to play with all of her new toys. Thanks to all of our family that made this day so special.

I cannot believe we no longer have babies. Toddler central here we come!!!

Kids are so funny!

Claire has been so funny the past few days. The things she says are so funny. Yesterday I told her it was time to come inside for a nap. She looked at me and said, "Mommy I am a pirate, and pirates don't take naps." It was so funny. She also later told me, "that's the way the cookie crumbles." Where does she get this stuff. SOOOOO FUNNY!
